United took on Velocity Times Inn with 25 players turning up but unfortunately a red card 35 minutes in changed the game and presented United with their second league defeat of the season
It started terribly for United as Times Inn took the lead within a minute with a cross that went in despite Leon's best efforts to keep it out
United though started to grow into the game and were on top from the tenth minute and levelled in the 27th minute when a Chris Madden free kick was flicked into the path of Chris Sproat by Anth Young and a mixture of Chris and a defender managed to get the ball over the line. 1-1
On the half hour United took a deserved lead when a great run down the right by Theo Weiss seen him cross the ball and Chris Sproat timed his run brilliantly to volley home. 2-1
The match was then turned in Times Inn favour when Iain Ray was sent off for a last man foul and despite it being outside the box the referee pointed to the spot which was converted to level the game at 2-2
United then had a silly 10 minute spell in the second half as Velocity scored in the 60th, 62nd, 68th and 70th minute to go 6-2 up
With 15 minutes left Ross McLagan freed Rob Weiss and his cross was brilliantly volleyed home by Jamie Williams but the 10 men of United couldn't find anymore goals and suffered a 6-3 defeat
Next week sees United take on the other Velocity team in what will be another tough test
