It was 4-0 to United when the Birtley keeper decided to pass the ball directly to Chris Sproat who controlled the ball and placed it into the net to grab his hattrick and put United in a dominant position

Birtley did grab a goal back on 76 minutes but United finished the game as 5-1 winners when Chris Sproat was unselfish in the box and squared it to Adil Khalili who found the bottom corner via the post
