United travelled to Consett knowing it wouldn't be an easy game despite Consett being bottom of the league

United were also missing 4 players and only had 12 available but those 12 put in a great effort and came home with the 3 points

Despite early dominance Consett took the lead after 7 minutes when a toe poked effort looped over Jack and went into the goal

United still continued to pretty much be camped in the Consett half but fell two behind after 26 minutes when a shot was well saved by Jack but the ball fell to a Consett player 5 yards from goal who tapped it home. 2-0

United pulled one back on the half hour when Jake went on a trademark run and was fouled a few times with the referee giving one of them in the box. Jake stepped up and beat the keeper with the penalty despite the keeper going the right way. 2-1 and that's how it was at half time

United got level within 3 minutes of the restart and it was through great quick thinking between Alfie and Liam. Alfie took a quick corner kick to Liam who played it back to Alfie. Alfie then took the ball to the edge of the box before unleashing a superb shot with his weaker foot and it curled into the net to level it at 2-2

United heads were up and you could see the difference in confidence in the two teams and from then on it was pretty much all United. The complete dominance was rewarded on 54 minutes when Liam started a move which ended with Jake playing the ball across the box to Liam who found the back of the net via the post to put United in front 3-2

Four minutes later United were awarded another penalty and Jake very kindly offered it to Liam who made no mistake finding the back of the net to give United a two goal cushion and that's how it ended

Liam picked up man of the match and there were other players who also played very well but the best thing about the result is the team chemistry and support for each other and not letting falling behind by 2 goals affect them
